Q: What additional support is available for my child outside of class?

A: Teachers are ready to help students during their office hours. We offered focused support activities, such as “Grammar Boot Camp” and “Writers Unblock”.  See here for more information.

Q: How important is  home (native) language learning?

A: Supporting and growing your home language is beneficial for many reasons. See here for more articles and information about this.

Q: How long will my child be in EAL?

A: Learning an additional language is a complex and time-consuming process. Every child is different, and so there is no simple answer. In addition, we want EAL students to be successful, and our goal is academic English fluency. Read more about all that is involved in this process here.
