About WIDA

We use a WIDA assessment to measure language growth at least once a year. WIDA (World-class Instructional Design and Assessment – pronounced WEE-da), measures all four domains of language learning―speaking, listening, reading, and writing, and provides scores for student performance

We use WIDA rubrics as a way to measure growth during the year. We have created student-friendly rubrics like the ones here so that students can understand expectations.
